We are looking for a Managing Account Supervisor to join our team! 

Our client is a global professional organization focused on helping both businesses and professionals of all ages adapt to new ways of working. Ketchum supports this client in the U.S. and around the world in 14 countries with a variety of global communications efforts targeting both businesses and consumers ranging from: digital counsel and content creation; developing earned-media strategies and pitching both thought leadership and new products; working with key opinion leaders within our client’s organization and with influencers for external amplification; securing speaking engagements at top tier professional events for client leaders; and more.

We are specifically looking for someone who can help us build, manage and maintain our global agency network, helping develop strategy, high-level messaging and content that can be adapted regionally. And we are looking for a creative thinker who can bring new perspective and help us develop out-of-the-box campaigns and tactics to reach new audiences, including students and younger professionals.

• Ability to work in multi-faceted, fast-paced environment
• Act as day-to-day client contact for some programs, and as a critical support for others; foster client-agency relationship, build trust and become a valuable resource to clients and internal teams
• Play key role in planning and implementation of account activities including global coordination, speakers bureau efforts, media relations, program implementation, etc.
• Demonstrate ability to effectively develop full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, reports, etc.
• Willing to learn how to develop and monitor program plans and budgets for profitability; report status to client and agency management on a regular basis
• Continually build understanding and knowledge of clients' business and competitive environments; apply this information in preparing and presenting strategically focused programs and recommendations.
• Develop an understanding of research methods, coordinate internal and external resources
• Be flexible and facilitate teamwork within account team; coordinate team resources and create opportunities for junior staff to take on more responsibility; fully utilize agency resources to create the "best teams" for your clients
• Bring enthusiasm, curiosity and passion to our day-to-day work, and never stop imagining where we can take our ideas to breathe new life into existing campaigns
• Integrate with a large team for some campaigns, while taking ownership and leading others
• Ability to put yourself in our client’s shoes to understand their needs, and translate that into deliverables
• Monthly financial support and reporting in accordance with client billing deadlines and Ketchum internal requirements

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field preferred 
• Seven to nine of experience in public relations agency or a similar position
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
• Excellent written skills
• Ability to work in multi-faceted, fast-paced environment
• Interest in learning more about global communications
