About the Job

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing client programs and activities; ensure that all programs are strategically on target with clients’ business objectives; report program results to agency management and client.

  • Deliver high-quality written and verbal content, present persuasively
  • Demonstrate full range of business communications knowledge and utilize relationships to further clients’ business goals
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge using social media and digital platforms to drive brand awareness and draft posts to generate engagement. Develop strategic social and digital recommendations and program tactics for clients
  • Develop a full range of written materials including press releases, byline articles, speeches, client correspondence, blogs, social media content and reports
  • Actively participate in networking and seeking new business opportunities, including pitching, research, writing and presenting
  • Drive effective implementation of projects, identify appropriate resources, and delegate work appropriately
  • Manage people and projects to deliver the highest quality work on time and on budget, and provide timely progress reports, anticipating issues
  • Build and manage effective media relationships
  • Maintain team compliance with the agency’s time entry, expense report policy and utilize PO system effectively
  • Contribute to management of client budgets
  • Build strong relationships, deal constructively with internal and external situations and be a role model for outstanding client service
  • Manage performance and drive accountability for team
  • Communicate clear, progressive direction to junior staff


Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field
  • Two years of experience in a public relations agency or similar position
  • Ability to work in multi-faceted, fast-paced environment
