Are you an excel guru? Are you the finance person who is looking to be in a creative environment? If so this could be the perfect role for you. Our NY office is looking for a Financial Analyst, Client Reporting with advanced excel reporting skills to join our team. 

About the Job

  • Support team with billing, accounts receivable, purchase orders, vendor contracts, contract compliance, and other finance tasks
  • Work with account teams to properly forecast their revenue commitments, understand their new business targets, and hold them accountable for delivering on their projections 
  • Pull and analyze large amounts of data to create reports and asses key metrics
  • Continually look for process improvements and work with the financial team to implement
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reporting packages and commentary including weekly revenue flash and employee utilization
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as necessary
  • Meet with account teams to discuss working capital performance of their clients, which includes negotiation of preferred billing arrangements, billing clients timely, and collecting per contractual terms 
  • Assist with the month end close process, including income review, expense review and preparation of journal entries
  • Assist with collection and analysis of monthly income projections 
  • Assist with the training of new hires and to use and understand all financial policies and procedures 


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combined with two to four years in a financial reporting role, experience in public relations or related field preferred
  • Advanced excel skills required, including knowledge of power/pivot query
  • Excellent time management, ability to prioritize and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff, clients and vendors
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of reports
