Our San Francisco office is looking an Account Executive to join our ranks and work among some of the best in the industry. This is a tremendous opportunity to work on a portfolio of high profile accounts to help drive thought leadership, reputation management, product and executive visibility. Ideal candidate would have experience working on corporate or technology clients that have a focus on B2B.

  • Maintain regular contact with clients; pro-actively offer and implement new ways to meet client needs
  • Build understanding and knowledge of the clients’ business and their competitive environments
  • Play key role in account activities including program planning and implementation, media relations, social media, desk-side briefings, media events, etc.
  • Ability to actively participate in the development of social media plans and their execution
  • Demonstrate knowledge of media strategy and monitoring, and be able to mentor for junior staff on the process
  • Participate in new business opportunities/presentations and client presentations
  • Prioritize own work, meet deadlines, actively communicate progress and deliverables. Provide appropriate instruction to junior staff on projects and facilitate teamwork
  • Develop an understanding of research methods, coordinate internal and external resources
  • Cultivate and monitor program plans and budgets for profitability; report status to client and agency management on a regular basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English, Marketing or a related field
  • Two to four years of experience in public relations agency or similar position in a non-agency setting; experience with corporate reputation management and/or tech B2B 
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Ability to work in multi-faceted, fast paced environment
