Ketchum New York is looking for a strategic, business-savvy and highly analytical Finance Coordinator, to support the Digital Finance team. In this role you will support the team with reporting, preparing and processing of invoices and entries, utilizing appropriate spreadsheet calculations, filing documents and supporting various ad hoc assignments. The ideal candidate is someone with high energy who can roll up their sleeves and get the job done. Ability to multi task, manage multiple projects and thrive in a fast paced environment are essential to this position. 

About the Job


  • Maintain financial records and processes
  • Provide financial analysis and guidance to account teams
  • Advise employees, vendors and customers by answering questions related to accounts, procedures and services
  • Support Finance team in areas of expense analysis, cost control recommendations and review of financial statements
  • Maintain, track and reconcile client billing, invoicing, budget preparation, cost control processes
  • Provide support and analysis for annual and ad hoc projects within the Finance group
  • Assist with setup of new vendors and freelancers
  • Provide supplemental training, and counsel to teams to improve compliance, resolve purchase order issues, run purchase order compliance report and maintain the open purchase order report with regards to purchase order system
  • Ad hoc liaison with accounts payable to resolve issues
  • Assist Finance team during month-end and monthly reporting package process including providing commentary and reporting on findings with expense analysis
  • Ensure assigned processes are running efficiently and effectively, alert Financial Analyst when issues arise


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
  • Proficient in MS Office, intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel a must
  • Must have great mathematical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong listening, verbal and written skills with the ability to communicate with upper level management and be comfortable working in a team based environment
  • Must have the ability to work independently, be resourceful, self-motivated, a self-starter, highly organized and have strong attention to detail
