This position will have a great opportunity for project management on a top client account.  Our team of leaders is dedicated to creating exciting programs that make a business impact and truly affect the lives of our clients’. In this role, you’ll be the day-to-day contact on key accounts. And you’ll be at the multi-agency table with top industry partners where you’ll be expected to hold your own.     About the Job

    Overview: Scope budgets and timelines, identify and activate resources, track and monitor budgets, ensure work is delivered on time and on budget.

     

    • Deep passion for project management
    • Work with internal teams to develop estimates, budgets and timelines for projects and SOWs
    • Monitor and track project progress, including producing and distributing status tracking reports and providing proactive recommendations to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
    • Facilitate conversations when projects start to go off track with enough time to address issues to minimize missed deadlines, bloated scopes or blown budgets. Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
    • Stay abreast of trends and client competition
    • Demonstrate full range of media and business communications knowledge
    • Provide strategic guidance to clients, anticipate needs and issues, troubleshoot problems and bring new ideas
    • Develop programs and collaborate effectively; use metrics and analytics to build business cases and provide insight and counsel to clients
    • Be proficient at writing and editing materials
    • Demonstrate advanced understanding of emerging channels like social media, video and content partnerships in relation to media mix
    • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs and offer solutions when necessary
    • Act as a primary contact to clients and play key role in managing accounts
    • Deliver high-quality written and verbal content, and present persuasively; draft, review and edit communications plans and strategy documents
    • Have a strong grasp and understanding of the industry team joined, along with understanding of client and business

    Qualifications

    Any combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance would qualify. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree in a communications field desirable
    • Three to five years of agency and/or in house public relations experience
    • Demonstrated track record in building strong client relationships and delivering programs that exceeded anticipated results
    • Proven track record in growing business
    • Direct experience in building and managing teams
    • Broad-based exposure to all skill areas, including proposal planning, writing and presentations, media relations, and consultative selling
