    Ketchum Digital is focused on influencing and augmenting the social conversation about brands and measuring its impact as it spreads across the full spectrum of digital media. We’re looking for a Senior Digital Strategist, Paid Media to join our digital team and help lead all paid marketing efforts. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the way Ketchum Digital delivers advanced, integrated paid media solutions to our clients. This person will both develop, execute, optimize and measure paid marketing strategies, initiatives and tactics with a heavy focus on advertising across social media, search engine marketing, mobile marketing, display and email advertising.

     

    The Senior Digital Strategist, Paid Media will serve as the lead strategist and network educator across Ketchum and Ketchum Digital on current and emerging paid media platforms and 360 advertising options. This position will also maintain and grow relationships between advertising platforms and Ketchum owned digital paid media agency partners. This position works across our North American network in one of the most critical, fastest growing areas of one of our most exciting teams and combines providing paid media expertise to leading clients across our wide network with the chance to grow and build this critical capability.

    About the Job

    • Work with the VP to strengthen the practice leadership team for Paid Media
    • Increase integration and measurement of paid media services into Ketchum’s new and existing client programs
    • Assist VP in managing relationships with paid media partners including but not limited to: Paid Search (Google), Paid Social (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest) Mobile (Millennial Media, Moasis Global), Native (Outbrain, Taboola, Sharethrough), Influencer (IZEA), Video (TrueEngage, Virool, Viral Gains) and Display 
    • Advise on strategies to improve the RFP win rate, participate in, and at times, lead, important pitches for media assignments
    • Establish relationships across the network to streamline paid media efforts and facilitate network-wide paid media trainings: capabilities, best practice, case studies, etc.
    • Demonstrate deep professional experience in emerging media, with a clear understanding how to apply tools and technology to infuse innovative digital and social strategies into new and existing work
    • Educate internal peers and external clients on paid media and digital trends
    • Build and present concepts and programs, both for clients and for new business proposals and opportunities
    • Develop and monitor paid media plans and budgets for profitability; report status to client and agency management on a regular basis

    Qualifications

    • 5-7 years' developing and successfully pitching innovative media strategies to advertisers across all industry verticals
    • Experience within a digital agency environment a MUST
    • Experience running paid advertising campaigns on Google AdWords, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and more
    • Successful track record of building and presenting strategic paid media programs, recommendations and tactics for clients and effectively executing programs
    • Solid grasp of social, digital, word-of-mouth marketing, personal and professional experience across the digital and social space, and knowledge of emerging trends and technologies
    • Ability to translate paid media platforms, technologies and metrics into succinct, compelling, conversational language for a variety of audiences
    • An individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, working effectively with colleagues and clients across organizations and geographies
    • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple project deadlines efficiently
    • Certification in Google AdWords search advertising is preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in
    • Experience with media research tools such as MRI, comScore and Compete preferred
    • Communications/marketing/business/PR or related field preferred
