    Ketchum Chicago is looking for a Human Resources Specialist to join our team.  This person must have strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and a solutions focus.  We’re seeking someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is always looking for ways to improve processes, multi-tasks effectively, and is sensitive to confidential matters.  This role is a great opportunity for someone with a few years of HR experience who is anxious to broaden his/her skill set, own projects and take on new challenges.

    About the Job

    • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function including:
      • Conduct new employee orientations
      • Responding to employee questions and requests
      • Maintaining HR records, employee files and employee data
      • Implementing employee status changes (new hires, transfers and terminations)
    • Facilitating agency performance management and salary review processes
    • Identify and coordinate agency training sessions in conjunction with HR Director and L&D team
    • Assist with recruiting efforts—open job requisitions, draft job postings, screen resumes and candidates, coordinate interviews, write offer letters and maintain recruitment status reports
    • Develop and manage agency intern program
    • Assist junior and mid-level staff with employee relations issues/concerns
    • Administer HR policies
    • Develop HR communications to keep staff informed of pertinent programs, policies and deadlines



    • 2 – 4 years of human resources generalist experience
    • Strong presentation, communication and writing skills
    • Adept at managing multiple priorities at one time and adapting to change
    • SHRM PHR certification a plus
