    Billing experience in a professional services firm is at the top of our wish list; but we’d be interested if you have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work accurately and independently within tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.  You need to pay close attention to detail, have excellent communication skills, work well with numbers, and provide great client service – mostly on the phone.  




    About the Job

    • Generate client invoicing according to contract/purchase order terms
    • Attach appropriate correspondence and screen prints to invoices to meet auditing requirements
    • Verify  and send out client invoices in an accurate and timely manner
    • Maintain files/ provide data for internal and external audits
    • Provide proper documentation for quarterly Sarbanes-Oxley testing
    • Provide first level counseling to account/finance staff on billing options
    • Develop collaborative relationships with local finance, account staff, and some external clients
    • Maintain client profiles to ensure accurate invoicing
    • Proof and Update Activity Reports/Budget Status Reports to support invoicing
    • Test system upgrades, changes, and enhancements
    • Document system processes for multiple Business Units
    • Research unbilled inventory and escalate issues appropriately according to established procedures
    • Perform inventory clean up on aged and pending items
    • Review and run month end close reports


    • Requires a college degree in Accounting or Finance and 1-2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of both
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel required, Word and PowerPoint helpful)
    • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
    • Demonstrated math and analytical skills
    • Professional demeanor and demonstrated ability to manage confidential information appropriately
