    We are in search of a Summer Intern to support the various administrative responsibilities in our Washington D.C. office.  The intern will work across our Public & Corporate Affairs, Brand, and Social Marketing practices, as well as Business Development, to learn the business and serve internal and external clients.

    About the Job

    This is a full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

    • Various administrative responsibilities
    • Monitor and track media and write media updates
    • Prepare pitch letters and pitch media
    • Assist in the development of press materials including fact sheets and backgrounders
    • Attend client and team meetings
    • Write client and/or team memos
    • Assist with research for new business opportunities and client presentations
    • Assist with event coordination
    • Participate in internal meetings and agency events

    Qualifications

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and strong presentation skills
    • Enthusiasm, flexibility and a willingness to go above and beyond
    • Strong organizational skills including the ability and willingness to work on a variety of projects
    • Previous internships in PR a plus but not required
    • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
