Ketchum West is looking for a Account Supervisor to join our growing corporate practice, with an emphasis on the automotive sector. This position will be based in our Los Angeles office.
This person will play a key role on one of our largest and longest-standing automotive accounts, in addition to supporting new business growth within the automotive sector. This role offers a high degree of client interaction, working side-by-side on the most significant new product introductions and marketing programs. The job responsibilities include strategic planning, event coordinating, media outreach, writing, and social and digital media counsel, among other assignments. This high-profile role creates opportunity for growth within the agency or within the automotive field with a high degree of access to industry executives, media and agency leadership.
Qualified candidates will have four-plus years of public relations experience, preferably within automotive. Must have a proven track record of delivering results for clients, be a team player and above all, bring a passion for the automotive industry.
In addition, ideal candidates will have exceptional media relations and writing skills, social media and digital programming expertise, be a strategic thinker with a results-driven motivation, have the ability to handle multiple projects at once and will be a self-starter with the capability to work effectively in a team environment. This individual must be willing to travel for client needs and spend significant time working with clients in their offices. Prior PR agency experience a plus.
